Angie Mar is a Doctor of Physical Therapy and strength and conditioning coach who empowers her patients to move beyond pain-free goals and toward lifelong habits.
Angie is passionate about utilizing 1:1 individualized care to help her patients accomplish their goals whether it be recovering from surgery, overcoming pain, returning to their active lifestyles, or returning to aerial arts with less limitation.

Angie is currently certified in Rocktape IASTM blades, blood flow restriction, and Barbell Rehab Method. She is a USA weightlifting level one coach as well as a TRX instructor.

Angie always knew that she wanted to work one on one with patients for their entire plan of care, but only recently switched to starting her own practice when she realized how effective individualized care can be when patients are given true quality time and skilled physical therapy.

Angie values listening to her patient’s concerns during their time with her, and will always find creative ways to help you get back to your goals.

Hi there! I’m Angie.

I believe in coupling evidence-based physical therapy with customized programming to help patients achieve their goals.

I am an NSCA certified strength and conditioning specialist, USA Weightlifting Level 1 coach and referee, as well as a TRX instructor. I am also trained in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and Blood Flow Restriction and have worked extensively with sport performance and return to sports patient populations.

I completed my bachelor’s degree in Nutritional Sciences: Physiology and Metabolism from University of California, Berkeley then went on to receive my Masters in Global Medicine from the University of Southern California before receiving my Doctor of Physical Therapy from USC as well. During my time at USC, I served as the Fundraising Chair and the Service Learning Coordinator, where I was able to travel to Mexico to provide care to special needs orphans.
